Christ said, “Let the little children come to me.” Through His example, our school welcomes all to join us in learning His word. As educators, our aim is to give our students a solid foundation in academics, faith and citizenship.
Ms. Nascenti won Meena Harris’ Diversity in the Classroom contest. The contest was run through the Phenomenal campaign. Phenomenal brings awareness to culture, causes, and issues affecting underrepresented communities. Ms. Nascenti won the contest based on how she promotes and celebrates diversity within her 1st grade classroom. She was awarded books that celebrate diversity. Included in the prize was Meena Harris’ newest book Ambitious Girl. The story is based on true life events of our first women Vice President Kamala Harris, Meena’s aunt.
