Mrs. Chisholm is a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at CTTA. She graduated from Mt. St. Mary College in Newburgh, NY with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/ Elementary and Special Education. After teaching second grade at a Catholic school in Rockland County, she entered the world of corporate training at Xerox. Realizing her true calling was working with children, she enrolled in graduate school and obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education from St Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY. Mrs. Chisholm is certified in grades N-5. She taught a dual Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 class at Epiphany School in Cliffside Park before that school merged with Christ the Teacher. She will celebrate her 22nd year with the Archdiocese of Newark in October, 2024. She serves as the School Volunteers Safety Coordinator. She has served on both the committee for Middle States Accreditation and Blue Ribbon Recognition for CTTA. Mrs. Chisholm has moderated CTTA’s Debate Club for grades 6-8 and worked with students in grades 4-8 preparing for the MLK Jr. speech competition. She has also moderated various early childhood clubs. She believes the possibilities are endless for each and every child.
